How far back in time can you understand English?

This is a fun walk down memory lane for me. I was an early blogger on Movable Type and an early reader of Daring Fireball. I was also the last US-based executive at Six Apart overseeing Movable Type. In so many ways, I miss MT to this day.

While testing a model, OpenAI said it escaped their sandbox by building a zero-day exploit, provisioned internet access and then hacked into platform Hugging Face. I usually take everything OpenAI says with a huge bucket of salt but this seems legit.

I always love visiting the kids in Wisconsin but it was extra special to be part of the first communion of the second godson. I’ve been blessed to know Sam from birth and am impressed by the human he’s turning out to be.
